The
impact of the credit crunch has been immense, like
a pandemic that has spread across the world causing
an outcry from struggling businesses in their attempt
to survive in the current economic climate. Thousands

in an attempt to become immune from becoming bankrupt
– a constant fear at the forefront of every
business owner’s mind.
The
problems caused by the collapse of the banking system
have hit the majority of businesses relatively hard.
The property market was once at an all time high with
prices hitting the roof; car sales were speedily rising
and generally businesses were thriving on their profitable
success.
But
now in July 2009, the sad reality is that unemployment
is at the highest it’s been sine 1995 and many
businesses are in fact losing business, losing trade
and losing money. With banks reluctant to lend, bad
debts mounting and taxes becoming impossible to pay,
the breaking point for many business arrives with
the dreaded Tax Bill.
Over
the last 18months many businesses have been accumulating
more and more tax debt as they find themselves in
the real predicament of paying rent, wages and suppliers
together with their HMRC tax bill. The situation is
so bad that some statistics suggest that as much as
£3billion per month is not being paid to the
tax man.
Certain
crown recovery companies understands that Tax can
be very taxing, particularly in the current economic
climate, and are therefore proud to be able to offer
their services to every business owner who is facing
an HMRC tax bill.
Crown

terms of repayment directly with HMRC. A sector spokes
person said “the service offering is unique
and driven by examination of the current financial
situation of the company together with its future
trading prospects. Each arrangement is unique and
designed to be fully accommodating of the trading
difficulties which are always unique to each business”.
Help

been issued by HMRC. The sector spokes person further
commented that “our in house legal team are
able to fully advise business owners even where the
business is being subjected to late payment demands,
bailiff action, County Court Judgments or wining up-actions.
Our service very often mitigates the need for using
independent legal advice”.

overcome their tax liabilities effectively so that
they can not only pay off their dreaded tax bill but
